Rescue Story:

My owner was going to be evicted due to having too many cats, another rescue took the one they could and asked Zoe's to take me. Thankfully they had an open foster home and I am ready to find my forever home.

Date of Birth: 2019

Energy Level: Medium

Size (adult): Medium

Adoption Fee: $170

Good with Dogs? Unknown
Only cat friendly dogs who won't chase me, with proper introductions of course. Possibly. I was ok with the dogs in my previous home apparently but haven't met any while in Zoe's care.
Good with Cats? Yes
I would love a very cat friendly and more chill cat buddy. But not required.
Good with Kids? Unknown
Older kids would be best if any. Loud sounds and sudden movements scare me.

Critter Twitter:

I am one very sweet girl who needs some time to settle in. I am not super cuddly, but I do love to play with wand toys. I would be the perfect cat for someone who wants a cat buddy for older cat-friendly cats but is still playful enough to be played with. One who isn't clingy and is happy to do her own thing. Though that may change in the future once I have fully settled in. I do come from time to time when my foster is in bed for pets and I have even laid on her lap. In time I may be a lap cat. It's just too hard to say now. I do hope we get the chance to find out together though. #adoptadoptadopt

About my Behaviour:

I am shy and it will take at least a month to settle in. It would be important that the home is quiet and won't force me to rush into cuddles. Loud noises and sudden movements do scare me a lot. I am quite independent and prefer to watch you from a distance, especially initially. Lots of wand-toy play and scheduled meals have helped me come out of my shell quicker though. Any kids must be understanding of my needs. Being in a home with lots of other animals made it so I didn't get the crucial attention and love I needed to be better socialized.

I love other cats and would do great in a home with very cat-friendly cats who won't boss me around. Ones who don't want to play with me would be ideal as it may be too scary. Senior cats or independent players only, please. But I would also do fine in a home as an only cat if its a quiet home that is understanding of timid natured cats like me.

How’s my Health?

I am fully vetted. I am very food motivated and scheduled meals would be best for us to form a strong bond more quickly. Three meals a day (or you could do two and leave out some dry if you don't have a cat who would bully me off the food).
