Tripp Michael   |   Male   |   Collie X   |

Rescue Story:

I was surrendered by my previous family because they were moving. I came to Zoe’s very underweight but with my foster parents help and some really good food I'm on my way to achieving a perfect physic. I have an old fracture in my hind left leg that my foster family assumes might be due to a car accident as I can fearful of cars driving by on walks.

Date of Birth: 2018

Energy Level: Low-Medium

Size (adult): Large

Adoption Fee:

Good with Dogs? Yes
I can be a bit timid at first when meeting fur friends
Good with Cats? Yes
We get along fine, however, I tend to mark when there are feline friends around. I might do best without if you don't want me to show off my assertiveness
Good with Kids? Yes
I can be a bit timid at first, so would prefer children that are dog savvy

Critter Twitter:

I've been told I am the cuddliest dog you’ll ever meet. I very much prefer to be a lap dog and get as close to you as possible! If I fits, I sits. I love spending time with my humans and my doggie foster sister. I hop around the yard like a bunny and love to play. #cutie

About my Behaviour:

Some people keep journals of everywhere they've traveled.... sometimes I try and do the same and will 'mark' where I've been. I wear a belly band when we visit friends with cats as I tend to mark more around them. In my foster home we established it's not the most admirable trait, but I'm a quick learner and haven't had any issues since day 1. Now that I am comfortable in my foster home my foster parents have trusted with free roam of the house with no accidents.

I do best walking in a harness while avoiding traffic as possible. Cars scare me so lets enjoy all the forest and trail walks together!

How’s my Health?

I am vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and neutered.
I am currently on some pain medication to support my old leg fracture. I wasn't sitting much before I started the medication and appeared to be uncomfortable. Since starting pain meds I'm a happy go lucky guy.
