Rescue Story:

I gave birth while living on the street. I knew I needed help so I brought my babies to a nice lady’s doorstep and she got Zoe’s to help me.

Date of Birth: February 2018

Energy Level: Medium

Size (adult): Medium

Good with Dogs? No
Its best I am the only pet.
Good with Cats? No
Only pet please.
Good with Kids? Maybe
but I’d probably be most comfortable with older kids who know how to respect my boundaries and aren’t too unpredictable. I sometimes play a tad rough, which wouldn’t be good for little kids.

Critter Twitter:

Some cats simply tolerate affection from their humans. Those cats are crazy. I ADORE my people. I know exactly how cute I am and I enjoy all the attention. But it’s not a one-way street with me -- oh no. I lick noses in return for chin scratches and if I want love, I’m not afraid to take it. I’ll nudge your phone out of the way, sit on your laptop, or just flop into your arms. I don’t like being alone too long and I’m content to spend the workday (or a Netflix binge session) snoozing next to you. I need a quiet, stable home. But I’m not the quiet one; I have a meow for every occasion. #loveme #adoptdontshop

About my Behaviour:

I am a sweet and sensitive soul so I will do best with a family that will keep me on a reliable schedule and will take the time to ease me into change. I might act out if I feel scared, unsure or stressed. I can get a little overstimulated sometimes and I go straight to attack mode. My foster parents are helping me learn there are other ways to communicate that I need a break. I also like to chew on my foster mom’s plants -- especially when the leaves are dying and crunchy -- but I’m currently enjoying the new cat grass they got me. I’m not the best at playing on my own so I love regular play sessions with wand toys and trips outside if you have a catio or cat harness (and lots of patience). In fact, I went camping with my foster parents in a cabin and I loved it!

How’s my Health?

I am spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and dewormed. I am currently taking medication for feline hyperesthesia that needs to be given every 8 hours to 10 hours, which is around $30/month. I should not be free-fed as I will get fat. I might have feline herpes virus that requires lysine (may or may not help I've only just started it so if it doesn't help, it can be stopped) and eye drops for when I have a flare-up. My adoption fee is $25 as I am special needs.
