Critter Twitter:
Hi, I’m Major Bedhead! I certainly live up to my name with my unruly fluff and my playful energy. I came to Zoe’s with my sister when we were seven weeks old, and we’d had no contact with humans before. It was scary at first, but it didn’t take long for me to realize that humans are the best! I love to be on my foster mom’s lap at all times—it’s the best place to play, cuddle, and sleep. My foster mom says I’m a total goofball and a Velcro kitten, which I’m told is adorable. I love just about everything: being brushed, playing (I can hunt down a spring or a crinkly ball like it’s my job), and being my foster mom’s teeny tiny shadow. I don’t meow yet, but I make the cutest little trills when I’m looking for my sister or want attention from my foster mom. It’s pretty dang cute. #shybutsweet
About my Behaviour:
My sister and I are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. We are looking for a calm, zen home where we can have the space and time we need to settle in properly. My sister is more shy than I, but we will still both take time to settle in. We would likely be fine living with younger, cat-friendly cats, provided there are slow, proper introductions and plenty of resources, but we would prefer not to live with senior cats or any bullies. Because we are shy and sensitive to loud sounds and fast movements, we would do best in a home with older children who can respect our space, rather than young children who may not understand why we are timid.
How’s my Health?
I am fixed, microchipped, up to date vaccines, and dewormed. I must be fed at least one meal of wet food a day for hydration. Wet food is important, as it's best for kitties, so please make sure it's in my diet. Wet food is higher in protein and can be lower in carbs. It also gives added moisture, which is important, as dry-food-only-fed cats tend to be dehydrated, which can lead to UTIs.
