Critter Twitter:

Ms Kitty here. I am a playful, excitable, and sometimes rambunctious girl. I love playing with my toys and anything remotely dangly. When it is sunny, I like to sunbathe out on the deck, with my foster sister Kiss. After I have had a good play session with my foster mom and sister, I enjoy watching some tv. I have learned to sit and to come, though I get distracted easily, so will need some work on that. I am pretty good at staying in my pen at bedtime, but I need to be tucked in with some comforting words and belly rubs, then I will fall asleep. I thought I was a real cat so now the Christmas tree needs a puppy pen around it. It's not my fault, they named me Kitty, how was I supposed to know! 😊 I have won the hearts of many but looking for one heart to be my furever home!

About my Behaviour:

I am very close to being housetrained and working on crate training. I don’t enjoy being in the crate and will cry. I will settle down with a treat and if you stay near me. I do get car sick, but hopefully I will outgrow that.

As a condition of adoption, we must register in a force free group training class for puppies. We'll learn so much and bond and I can have some socializing time with other dogs in a safe environment, which is really critical for young pups! Please check out www.albertaforcefreealliance.com for some great force free trainers!

How’s my Health?

I am Spayed, microchipped, dewormed and will have my vaccines up to date.

I came in with head injury but with time and bottle feeding I have seemed to have caught up to my foster siblings who are only a day older than me. Any physical deficits that I had, are now not noticeable. My vet is happy with my progress and I seem to be a happy, normal pup so far. I was 15lbs at 10 weeks old, so I will be quite large as an adult.
